How to crop an image

Pick an image, then drag inside the box to move it and drag a corner to resize it. Choose an aspect ratio to lock the shape (the box keeps that shape as you resize), or type X, Y, width and height in pixels of the original image for an exact crop. Press Download. Need an exact pixel size too, like 1080×1080? Crop to the ratio here, then set "Resize result to width", or use resize image, which can crop to fill a size for many images at once.

Circle crop

Choose Circle to cut a round profile picture or avatar. The corners become transparent, so the result is saved as PNG (or WebP if you pick it). Use it with the 1:1 ratio for a perfect circle; other ratios give an ellipse.

FAQ

Is my image uploaded? No. Cropping runs in JavaScript on this page.

Does cropping reduce quality? No. The pixels you keep are copied exactly. Pick PNG for a lossless file, or JPG/WebP at Maximum or High quality.

Can I crop several images at once? This tool crops one image at a time with a box you place. To cut many images to the same size from the center, use resize image with Crop to fill.

What about photo metadata? The result has no EXIF data (camera, GPS location). Phone photos are shown and cropped the right way up. Animated GIF and WebP files are cropped as their first frame.
