Convert images between JPG, PNG and WebP. It reads PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG and ICO, converts as many files as you like at once, and zips them for you. Free, no watermark, and your files never leave your browser.
No images yet. You can also drop files on this box.
Changes apply to every image instantly. Size and aspect ratio stay the same.
Pick JPG when a form, printer or older app needs it, PNG when you need pixel-exact or lossless output (screenshots, logos, editing), and WebP for websites, where it is usually 25 to 35% smaller than JPG at the same quality and keeps transparency.
Each file is decoded by your browser, drawn onto a canvas at its original size and re-encoded in the format you chose. Nothing is uploaded. Phone photos are rotated the right way up, and EXIF metadata (camera, GPS location) is removed. SVG files are rasterized at their own width and height. HEIC photos from iPhones can only be read in Safari; elsewhere, set the iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" or export as JPG first.

If your images are screenshots of web pages, skip the conversion step. The Shotmint API renders any URL or HTML in Chromium and returns a PNG, JPG or WebP directly:
curl "https://shotmint.creasework.com/v1/screenshot?url=https://example.com&format=webp&quality=80" -H "X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY" -o page.webp
Each screenshot is 1 credit. €5 buys 2,000 with no subscription, and credits never expire.

Are my images uploaded? No. The conversion runs in JavaScript on this page, so it works for private photos and ID scans, and even offline once the page has loaded.
Does converting lose quality? To PNG: no new loss. To JPG or WebP: a little, set by the quality option. "Maximum" is visually identical for almost any image. Converting never adds back detail that was already lost.
Is there a limit? No file count limit and no watermark. Very large images (over about 50 megapixels) depend on your device's memory.
What about animated GIF or WebP? Only the first frame is converted.
