The page uses pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library, to copy the chosen pages into new PDFs in your browser. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-compressed. Fonts and images shared by many pages are copied into every part that uses them, so the parts can add up to more than the original.

Is my PDF uploaded? No. Splitting runs in JavaScript on this page, so your documents stay on your device.
How do I remove a page from a PDF? Pick "Extract pages into one PDF" and list every page except the one to drop, for example 1-4, 6- to remove page 5.
Can I reorder pages? Yes, with "Extract pages": 3, 1, 2 puts page 3 first. A reversed range like 10-1 reverses the order.
Why does it say password-protected? Encrypted PDFs can't be split without the password. Save a copy without the password in your PDF viewer, then try again.
