Full page screenshot

Capture an entire webpage, top to bottom, as a single PNG. No browser extension, no stitching, no signup. Shotmint scrolls the page first so lazy-loaded images and sections show up, then captures it in real Chromium.

Free to try, no signup. 5 renders/day per visitor.

How it works

Paste a URL and press the button. The page loads in a 1280px-wide desktop browser, gets scrolled from top to bottom to trigger lazy loading, and is captured as one tall image (up to 16,000px; longer pages are cut at that height). Uncheck "Full page" to get only the visible viewport. Need the phone layout instead? Use the mobile screenshot tool and tick "Full page". Want a PDF you can search and print? Try URL to PDF.

Why not a browser extension?

Extensions capture what your own browser shows: your logins, cookie banners you already dismissed and your window size. They also stitch the page from several scrolls, which breaks sticky headers. A server-side capture gives you a clean, logged-out render at a fixed width, which is what you want for archives, client reports, design reviews and bug tickets.

Full-page screenshots from code

The same capture is one API call. Add full_page=true, and set width to pick the layout, hide_selectors to remove cookie banners or chat widgets, and format=jpeg for smaller files on very long pages:

curl "https://shotmint.creasework.com/v1/screenshot?url=https://example.com&full_page=true&width=1440&hide_selectors=.cookie-banner" \
  -H "X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY" -o full.png

Every parameter is listed in the docs and in the OpenAPI spec. Code samples: Node, Python, PHP.

FAQ

Does it capture content behind a login? No. The free tool renders the public page. With the API you can pass your own HTML instead of a URL.

Why are some images missing? Some sites load images only on user interaction or block automated browsers. Try again, or add a delay in the API.

Is it free? 5 renders a day per visitor here. A free API key gives you 100 more, and after that it's pay as you go: €5 for 2,000 renders, no subscription, credits never expire.
